Total refurbishment of Grade 1 listed building in 2002
Rook lane chapel is a magnificent Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Frome. Founded in 1707.
The building now houses NVB Architects and Rook lane Arts Trust. Millers electrical carried out a total electrical refurbishment to Rook Lane chapel in 2002, incorpoating, lighting, power supplies, emergency lighting, and Data & Telephone systems, they worked closley, with the local Architects NVB, to carry out this detailed work.
All the works were completed in July 2003, and formally reopened by the Duke of Gloucester.

Egdon Hall. Garden Lighting / Kitchen Lights

Garden Lighting Project / Kitchen Lights
Millers were asked to install Garden lights, either side of the long driveway, these had to be operated from each end of the drive way with motion sensors, also a main switch by the front door area. ( Lights supplied by the clients ). All cabling was carried out in heavey duty steel wired armoured cabling, burried in the ground.
Some very large trees in the grounds had to be illuminated, 400 Watt light fittings were used to get the best effect.
Installation of Low voltage lighting in the Kitchen area of the house, with the use of Fire rated down lights
Lutron Lighting, Bang & Olufsen Audio equipment

Conversion of Living room area
Millers were called upon to install a Lutron, Graffic eye ( B&O ) lighting system. Also incorporating the customers Bang & Olufsen Audio system, all field wiring was carried out, to all the B&O equipment, giving the customer a total master link system, this was also linked to equipment in other rooms around the home. so they could use one remote control ( Beo 5 ) to operate all the equipment , this would include, Track lighting, LED Spot lights, & full operation of Roof Velux windows.
This Lutron Gaffic eye system, would allow them to have 16 Scene settings, in the room, giving them total control of all there lighting & Audio functions

Triple Garage conversion, with Annexe Office
Client: Mr Jefferies
Conversion of a triple garage, with ip rated light fittings, and weatherproof sockets, & switches to control the lighting.
At the far end a Home office was installaed, with low voltage lighting installed, and electric convector heaters for general heating. Also a simple intruder alarm was fitted, to protect the office area
Electrical refurbishment of the Crown Hotel in Frome
Client: Crown Hotel
Grade 2 listed building, renovation works carried out including, fire alarm system, Emergency lighting system, and a Industrial Kitchen installation.

Bang & Olufsen Audio install
Client: Mr Smith
Bang & Olufsen Audio install, with speakers
Mr Smith purchased a Bang & Olufsen system, it was down to Martin and his team to install the products, all cabling was sunk into the walls, and all cabling to be hidden where possible.
Products installed: BS9000 ( Limited Edition ), Lab 8000 Speakers in the front room area, Lab 2000 Speaker in the Kitchen area, these were all connected up to a Master Link system, so either a CD, or Radio sound could be listened to at the same time in different rooms.
Also all the Bedrooms & Bathrooms were wired for a full intergation, master link system, which will be installed at a later date
